Keep in mind that living together has a strong impact on a relationship- how will living as roommates affect your friendship? Do you have the same values when it comes to cleanliness, study habits, and so forth? Where: You know who your roommates are. Great. Now where are you going to live. As a college student, is it better to live close to campus, or a little farther away? Once alternate side parking sets in, is there going to be enough parking spaces? NIGHT PARKING / ALTERNATE SIDE PARKINGFrom November 1 to April 1, between 1:00a.m. and 6:00a.m., vehicles shall be parked only on even-numbered sides of the streets on those nights with an even calendar date, and on odd-numbered sides of the streets on those nights with an odd calendar date. The leaves are beginning to change, school has been in session for a month, and people are already signing leases for next year’s apartment… wait- what?! Yes, many people sign their lease extremely early, nearly a year in advance. But is this necessary? Perhaps. Depending on where you want to live, you might need to sign an early lease to get the house/apartment that you want. Many property management agencies have lists they put out on a specific day…….MORE INFO HERE However, even in the summer months there are still plenty apartments and houses available for rent, many close to campus. Not quite sure who you want to live with yet? It’s better to take your time than to rush into signing a lease before you think things through.
